Conducting geochemical and isotope geochemistry research on deep-sea mineral resources, including seafloor massive sulfide (SMS) deposits, polymetallic manganese nodules, and deep-sea mud, with emphasis on the application of MC-ICP-MS for high-precision radiogenic and stable isotope analysis,while also conducting research on the geochemical and isotopic characteristics, genesis, and evolution of terrestrial ore deposits.

  • Course Demonstrator – School of GeoSciences, The University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Assisted in teaching and supervising students during laboratory sessions and fieldwork. Supported courses including: Geomaterials, Ore Mineralogy, Petrology & Geochemistry (OMPG); Igneous, Metamorphic & Ore Processes (IMOP); Introduction to Geological Records.

  • Guest Lecturer – Dept. Geological Engineering, Pertamina University, Indonesia

Delivered a guest lecture on geological mapping in hydrothermally altered terrains to third-year undergraduate geology students. Served as co-supervisor for an undergraduate research project in economic geology, providing guidance on methodology, data interpretation, and report writing.

  • Research Internship – CSIRO, Australia

Part of CSIRO Discovery Postgraduate Internship Program 2023/2024, with a research project entitled Critical metals: Bismuth in the geological cycle and its applicability to mineral exploration.

  • Teaching Assistant – Dept. Earth Resource Science, Akita University

Instructed and supervised first-year undergraduate students in laboratory sessions. Guided students in fundamental chemistry experiments, lab safety, and accurate data recording.

  • Research Student – Economic Geology Lab., Dept. Earth Resource Science, Akita University

Completed a six-month fully funded research preparation programme prior to commencing an MSc degree, involving geological sample preparation including thin and polished section preparation, participation in research group seminars, and basic Japanese language training. 

  • Teaching Assistant – Dept. Geological Engineering, Univ. Gadjah Mada

Taught and supervised first- and second-year students during laboratory practicals and fieldwork. Prepared and organized practical materials, ensuring smooth delivery of lab and field sessions. Assisted in marking student assignments, practical reports, and field notebooks. Supported courses including: Mineralogy & Crystallography, Petrology, Structural Geology, Geological Mapping, Optical Mineralogy & Petrography.

  • Instructor for National Earth Sciences Olympiad Training

Delivered intensive training for high school students preparing for the National Earth Sciences Competition. Designed and taught modules in geology, meteorology, oceanography, and astronomy. Served as an instructor for the official contingents of Yogyakarta and North Sumatra, providing subject coaching and mentoring.

  • Greenfield Exploration – Japan Gold Corp. 

Completed a summer internship contributing to greenfield exploration in the Ikutahara epithermal gold project.

  • Brownfield Exploration – PT Kapuas Prima Coal, Tbk. 

Worked as a brownfield exploration geologist in the Ruwai skarn Fe-Zn-Pb-Ag deposits. Oversaw and participated in drilling exploration programs, including core logging, sampling, and geological interpretation.

  • Brownfield Exploration – PT Multi Utama Kreasindo Mining

Conducted alteration and vein mapping as part of a primary project in the Cibeber epithermal deposits during an internship program.

  • Contributed as part of the initiator team for the creation of undergraduate research funding programs.

  • Mentored undergraduate research projects, providing guidance on research design, methodology, and reporting.

Europe Region Representative & Students–ECP Committee Liaison

  • Represented the Europe Region in student and early-career professional activities.

  • Acted as a liaison between the Students’ Network and the Early Career Professionals (ECP) Committee, facilitating communication and collaboration.

  • Contributed to regional outreach, event coordination, and professional development initiatives for students and young professionals.

  • Served as Vice President of the SEG Student Chapter at Universitas Gadjah Mada (2016/2017) and as Secretary of the SEG Student Chapter at Akita University (2020/2021).

  • Organized academic-related activities for Indonesian students, including peer discussions, seminars and workshops,
